D6.4.1 Requirements and Architecture of a Cloud Broker

This deliverable presents a report on the work performed on the WP6.4 for the definition and analysis of the Cloud Broker Use Case. This work has been focused in three aspects: the description and refinement of the use case definition, the analysis of the business aspects related to the use case and finally, the analysis of the technical aspects of the use case, including the proposal of a high-level design.

D5.1.3.2 – Report on Cloud License Management Requirements and New Approaches
 
Deliverable D5.1.3.2 reports on requirements for license management in Clouds and new 
developments in this area. This deliverable is an update of the year one deliverable D5.1.3.1 
and as such tries to concentrate on the differences with respect to license management in 
Clouds and new developments that have been identified for year two of the OPTMIS project.

 

D7.5.1.1 - Yearly Report on Standardization: OPTIMIS with Existing Standards
 
This deliverable documents the summary of existing standards. It presents the areas within 
OPTIMIS toolkit that have been using standardization or have the intention to do so and does 
the mapping with the existing standards. Work Package 7.5 has gathered the information on 
activity of OPTIMIS members in the existing and developing standards.

 

D7.4.3.1 - Dissemination, Collaboration and Communication Report

The purpose of this deliverable is to present as thoroughly as possible all the dissemination actions undertaken by OPTIMIS, during the first year of the project (June’10 – May’11).

The D6.4.1 document provides an architectural design for brokerage based collaboration oriented multiple cloud provider use case scenario. The cloud broker is one of the core use cases that form part of the three Activity 6 use cases. A brief overview of the document follows.

D6.2.1 - Use case requirement and refinement analysis report

This deliverable presents a report on the work performed on the Work Package P6.2 for the 
definition and analysis of the Programming Model Use Case. This work has been focused in 
three aspects: the description and refinement of the use case definition, the analysis of the 
business aspects related to the use case, and finally, the analysis of the technical aspects of the 
use case.
D5.3.2 - Theoretical foundations for multi-site VM placement
This document describes deliverable D5.3.2 – theoretical foundations for multi-site VM placement. The deliverable focuses on theoretical aspects of VM placement and the development of a placement model to be used in the OPTIMIS Toolkit. In a manner similar to how the Service Deployment Optimizer (SDO) toolkit component is general enough to handle both service deployment (in private and multi-clouds) and remote VM placement (for cloud bursting and federation), the devised model captures both these cases.
